Course Description
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course provides training in CPR (with a mask) and relief of choking for the adult, child, and infant victim as well as certification in the use of an AED. This course is designed for individuals and companies that require CPR and AED certification for any non-healthcare related field. This class is perfect for those who want to receive training in CPR, relief of choking, and the AED without some of the more technical aspects included in the Healthcare Provider level class.
Intended Audience
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for individuals and companies that require CPR and AED certification for any non-healthcare related field such as teachers, construction workers, fitness trainers, coaches, electricians, scout leaders, police officers, firefighters, and more. This course is also appropriate for the general community member who wants to learn CPR and AED skills for his/her own knowledge such as new parents, grandparents, babysitters, teens, friends, family, and neighbors.
This course is not intended for people who work or want to work in the healthcare field.
Course Length: Approximately 3½ hours

Card Type Provided: Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Completion Card - Valid for Two Years.
Written/Skills Exam: No written exam. Skills testing with Heart Link instructor during course.
